JOB DESCRIPTION

 

Job Title:	Engineer Quality Assurance – Incoming Inspection (Pumps)
Location:	Alwar Rajasthan
Report to:	Dy. Manager Quality Assurance

 

 

JOB STATEMENT

 

Implement and maintain Quality management system, and manage the quality assurance and quality control functions of Receipt QC & Supplier Quality Assurance at Company Location.

 

 

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 

•          Incoming Inspection of brought Parts like Castings, Fastener, Machined Component, Fabrication parts etc. & Third party raw material testing

•          Regular Supplier Audit & Development

•          Supplier Corrective Action Control and ensuring the implementation

•          Incoming Inspection of raw material, tooling's & Gauges

•          To carry out inspection at supplier premises

•          To ensure the disposition of rejected material at receipt.

•          To ensure the incoming inspection of material on time & reporting the deviations

•          To ensure the disposition of rejected material at receipt.

 

 

RELATIONSHIPS

 

·         Report directly to the Dy. Manager Quality Assurance

 

AUTHORITY

 

•                      Support the following staff with the dissemination of information

-          Sourcing, New Product Development, Manufacturing, Planning

-     Company Minerals organisation, puchasing, engineering, quality

-     Customer Service Representatives

-          Project Managers

-          Guide the Supplier, Manufacturing & Quality Team for best quality practices

 

 

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

 

 

·         BE (Mechanical) /Diploma in Mechanical Engg. & Quality tools and methods

·         Minimum 3 years' experience in QA preferably in Automotive Companies

·         Experience of Suppler Development, Supplier Selection & Receipt Inspection

·         Experienced in developing Quality Plans & Supplier Complaint Handling

 

SKILLS AND ABILITIES

 

·         A high level of computer skills is essential – Ms Excel, Word and Notes database.

·         Experience in working global organisation

·         Experience  of quality tools like SPC, FMEA, LEAN, etc.

·         Knowledge of parts/materials used within the mining, steel and allied industries.

·         Highly motivated individual with good communication and interpersonal skills.
