JOB STATEMENT
This position is responsible for Industrial Engineering of all the products produced in COMPANY Location. (Slurry pumps, Rubber products etc)
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
· Responsible for creating optimum flow system in the factories to increase productivity and best space utilization.
· Create, check and verify the routings in the SAP system.
· Check the BOM with actual usage and provide feedback to engineering.
· Estimates production times, staffing requirements, and related costs to provide information for management decisions
· Confers with management, engineering, and other staff regarding manufacturing capabilities, production schedules, and other considerations to facilitate production processes.
· Applies statistical methods to estimate future manufacturing requirements and potential.
· Preparing manufacturing documentation (work instructions) required for product manufacturing.
· Identifying ways to reduce production costs;(waste control, energy control, methods control)
· Working with engineering and other departments to produce cost estimates for new designs.
· Training and supervising staff.
· .Implement the best manufacturing techniques on the shop for lean manufactutng
· Benchmarking the production and operation techniques with global practices.
RELATIONSHIPS & AUTHORITY
• Report directly to the Manager – Product development
• Support the following staff with the dissemination of information
- Sourcing, Quality, manufacturing, planning, Enginnering, Workers
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
· BE (Industrial Engineering) with 5-6 of experience in Industrial engineering or methods department of reputed company.
· Hand on experience in creating routings in SAP system.
· .Experience in Auto cad will be added advantage.
· Prove track record for establishing the new products.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES
· Experience in Methods/Industrial engineering activities.
· Innovative and flavour for cost reduction .
· A high level of computer skills is essential – Ms Excel, Word and Lotus Notes.
· Analytical capability.
· Knowledge of manufacturing process used in pump and rubber industry.
· Highly motivated individual with good communication and interpersonal skills.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
This position is predominately situated in an office environment and workshops, although travel to vendors will be necessary.
CTC- 4-5 LPA+ Variable
