JOB DESCRIPTION

 

Job Title:	Engineer - Pump& MV
Location:	Alwar, Rajesthan
Report to:	Rajesh Yadav – Manager Product Development

 

 

JOB STATEMENT

 

This position is responsible for Engineering of Slurry Pumps (Centrifugal), Package design and execution of customized orders.

It includes support to other function like, sales, Production, Planning, Quality, Sourcing/Purchase, etc.

 

 

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 

·         Execution of customer order from pre contract to final Delivery.

·         Customer interaction.

·         Providing technical guidance to Manufacturing, Quality, Sourcing and suppliers.

·         Product maintenance, Up to date keeping of records, like drawings, BOMS, standards etc

·         Follow up and implementation of ECNS. Coordination with global engineering centre.

·         Project management-Keep all relevant records and apprise management regarding the status of projects and developments

·         Development and support  of new Products and their variants like Modular Vibrator.

 

 

RELATIONSHIPS & AUTHORITY

 

•                      Report directly to the Manager – Product development

•                      Support the following staff with the dissemination of information

-    Sourcing, Quality, manufacturing, planning

-    Project Managers

-    Guide the designer for best engineering practices.

 

 

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

 

 

·         BE (Mechanical) with 4-6yrs / DME with 7-9yrs experience in Design/Engineering department of reputed Pump Industry.

·         Previous experience with ERP,CAD software's would be an advantage

·         Experienced in Engineering and design of fabricated and machined parts.

·         Proven track record in attainment of project delivery schedules and budgets.

·         Good interpersonal and communication skills.

·         Should possess analytical skills

 

 

 

 

SKILLS AND ABILITIES

 

·         Experience in engineering deptt of industrial machinery, like pumps, construction  and mining equipments

·         A high level of computer skills is essential – Ms Excel, Word and Lotus Notes. Auto CAD, Inventor, IDEAS.

·         Experience in working global organisation

·         Knowledge of parts/materials used within the mining, steel and allied industries.

·         Highly motivated individual with good communication and interpersonal skills.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

 

This position is predominately situated in an office environment and work shops, although travel to vendors will be necessary.
