Position-Electrical Engineer

JOB STATEMENT
This position is responsible for Carrying out Basic & Detailed Electrical & Instrumentation Engineering for products handled in Mining & construction technology group as per project schedule.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
•Responsible for Preparation & Releasing the Electrical & Instrumentation drawing's, BOM's and Specification's for procurement/ approval from Consultant /Customer as per project schedule.
•Preparation of Basic Electrical & Instrumentation Engineering Drawing/Documents like Single line diagram for MCC, Sizing calculations for transformer, cable sizing calculations, Illuminations/ lighting calculations, I/O List--- etc.
•Preparation of Specification for Electrical & Instrumentation items- Motors, MCC , VFD's, PLC's, Field & safety devices and other instruments/ equipments required for BMH products----- etc.
•Preparation of Electrical detailed drawings/ layouts/ documents- Cable layout, earthing layout, lighting layouts, cable schedules, earthing schedules --- etc.
•Review & approval of suppliers drawing.
•Collection of data required for basic & detailed electrical & Instrumentation Engineering.
•Monitoring the Drawing submission schedule on daily basis as per project schedule & planning.
•Coordinating with other department's viz. Project (Execution), Purchase, Erection & commissioning and Mechanical engineering for collection of data required for engineering & resolving the problems related to Electrical& Instrumentation.
•Co-ordination with customer/ consultant for approval of drawings.
•Preparation of part codes in SAP system.
•Will be in continuous co-ordination with Project engineer, Manager electrical to ensure the timely completion of Electrical & Instrumentation Engineering to meet the project delivery.
•Following-up with Project Engineer, Manager Electrical regarding client's urgencies and priorities.
•Ensuring systematic, smooth & result oriented Execution of Electrical & Instrumentation activities handled in E & I department.
RELATIONSHIPS & AUTHORITY
• Report directly to Manager Electrical
• Support the following staff with the sharing of information
• Project (Execution), Purchase, Mechanical Engineering, E & C department.
